How Wise Are You?

Over the last couple of months psychic medium Sue Nicholson has been pulling a card to give us weekly guidance from her Butterfly Oracle Wisdom cards. This week she’s drawn the wisdom card…(don’t you love owls?)Sue Nicholson Wisdom card

Sue Nicholson Psychic Medium

Hi everyone, hope you’ve had a great week!

Wisdom is one of the great gifts that come with time. As the years pass we constantly accumulate information. If we are paying attention we learn the pros and cons of decisions we may make, we discover by trial and error what works and what doesn’t, we come to understand what things are important and should be focused on and what things are pointless and should not take up any of our precious time and energy. This wisdom, our experience, is a valuable gift we can share with the younger generation.

As I am writing this a memory of myself as a little girl comes to me of sitting with my grandfather and hearing about what he endured in World War I, then World War II. He was a quiet man and I could see his mind ticking over so I would ask him questions about life. I know that he didn’t have a very good education so his knowledge and wisdom was learned not through books but through real life and people and situations.

There is a saying that knowledge is power. We are constantly learning every day through people and very strongly through television and the media. I only like to watch the Discovery channel and I have learned a lot through these programmes, wisdom which is passed on in my teaching and courses.

Also as I really don’t read many books unless spirit draws them to me, my wisdom comes from the spiritual realms, it’s like tapping into the outer realms of consciousness.
No matter how old you are, there is always something new to learn, so if you feel there is a course you would like to take then don’t let the fact that you’re not a teenager any longer stop you. It’s never too late to learn something new. Remember you don’t always have to be in a class with others, there are many online courses you can do from the privacy and comfort of your own home.

So as you go about your week, think about what you have learned this year and how you have applied those lessons in your life. What else do you need to learn from here? Is there a course you’ve always wanted to do that you could consider taking next year? If so, why not look into it now? And if you don’t have time to take a class, trust that whatever knowledge and wisdom you are meant to learn will work its way down stream until you receive it.

Thanks Sue!

Thanks Sue! Wisdom is certianly not limited to books and college degrees. I recently spent a few weeks with my grandparents and they have such wisdom to share. My grandmother always had loving and practical advice to share, but for my grandfather it took him until his 90’s before he could talk about many things such as WW2 and his missteps in life, but now he won’t stop and I’m thankful for that wisdom. Both of my grandparents are gems that make my life brighter and invaluable.
