Feel The Fear & Do It Anyway
Our favourite psychic – Sue Nicholson – is back after her Australian tour. The demand for her gifts is huge – she’s got over 100,000 fans on Facebook, which is amazing in little ol’ New Zealand.
We’re all searching for answers aren’t we? I’ve seen Sue in action and been quite blown away by some of the answers she’s been able to give people. This week the card she’s drawn from her Butterfly Wisdom Oracle Pack to give us guidance is Dispeller of Fear. Now I’ll be quiet and let the gifted one do the talking!
Hi everyone. Let me explain this card to you.
Our individuality is our strength. No two people are alike. Even identical twins have subtle and definite differences because our experience of the world is unique to us.
The lesson of this card is that having a feeling of safety within the herd mentality will only take you so far.
It will protect you in certain circumstances. Belonging to a group – be it family, a team or a gang etc. feels safe because you feel protected – it’s the safety in numbers energy. But that only takes us so far.
Sometimes we need to face the fear and do it anyway, as the saying goes.
Sometimes as individuals we need to break out from the crowd and express our own unique ideas and point of view in order to grow and become a strong fully evolved person.
It can be very scary stepping away from the safety of the flock…. remember back to your first day at school when you were left by yourself to face the unknown?
It can feel quite intimidating to be out on a limb on your own. But in order to live life to its fullest we have to challenge our comfort zone by taking the next step on our path and meeting our true selves along the way.
I remember the very first time I stepped out on stage and there were 400 people staring at me, waiting for me to bring answers through from their loved ones – all I wanted to do was walk off stage!
I could hear spirit saying to me that I could do it and I was thinking I couldn’t and how overwhelming and embarrassing it would be if I didn’t bring through what they wanted, but I was also aware that all those people had come to see me and it would be even worse if I walked off.
So I faced the fear and did it and it was a great success. I can’t say that I never get nervous these days, I always do but it’s not as bad as that first time. Television is very different and funnily enough I have never felt concerned about being in front of the camera even when it is live television.
So this week have a think about what you are holding back from doing? You will never know if you don’t try.
Thanks Sue, we’re glad to have you back.
