Book Club: Grey
I promised you a review of Grey, the follow up to the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy as told by Christian. Here it is 🙂
As you might expect it’s still got a lot of the sexy bits that were said to change the lives of hordes of American housewives, but it’s all explained.
Grey and the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy is a very touching love story.
Christian may be rich and powerful and sexy and gorgeous but he was also a very damaged little boy.
His background was absolutely horrific and it’s no wonder he has all sorts of …. shall we say…. idiosyncrasies.
The story tells of his thoughts, reflections and dreams and is heart warming.
I also loved that E L James toned down her use of ‘laters baby’! (That drove me nuts.)
I became super fond of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey through this series, and if you haven’t gone there I think you would too, but most especially after reading Grey.
There’s been lots of criticism of the story and of E L James writing but she has the last laugh 🙂
Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as told by Christian, $19.99
Did you like this series?
Have you seen the 50 Shades of Grey movie with Jaime Dornan and Dakota Johnson starring as Christian and Anastasia (Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith’s daughter) ?
